Hello, fellow adventurers!

Our adventures follow our whims, hopping from one interest to the next. We tend to dive head first into something, assuming we’re going to like it, go all out for a while, and then get distracted by the next thing that comes floating up from the backs of our minds.

We are the classy people you see wearing three layers of clothes on the airplane to avoid paying (or waiting) for checked luggage or changing clothes in the back of their Jeep in a parking lot even though they still haven’t put curtains up. We used to be afraid to go to Mexico. We thought you had to be rich to go to Europe. We thought hostels were only for dirty, sketchy people who couldn’t afford anything better. (What can we say? We're judgmental.)

One of the best things about getting out in the world? It changes your perspective, gives you a new understanding of what is possible, and shows you the magic in being dead wrong about something.

We hope to show you how uncomplicated it can be to live an adventurous life (even on a budget), to do the things you daydream about but think aren’t feasible while living a “regular” life. We don’t live in a van or spend half the year travelling. We aren’t super rich or sponsored by anybody. Well, except Erin; she's sponsored by Chris... We have a mortgage, the snuggliest dogs, and one of us works too much.

We won’t be giving advice about travelling with kids, being fashionable, or growing your Instagram followers because we don’t know anything about any of that. But we know how to make our own fun, how to do things in ways that are affordable to us, and with as much research as possible.
